1.     Auyshaman Bharat Yojana

Auyshaman Bharat Yojana launched in September 2018 by Government of India, aim is to provide health insurance to all the people in India.  It provides health insurance of 5 lakh rupees to those are having low income and the category like ST/SC.  It is a one of the largest government supported scheme in the world.  The scheme is offers cashless healthcare benefits to the people upto 5 lakh rupees, even the single in family can take the benefit of 5 lakh rupees.  There is a simple registration process, can provide the unique identity number to all peoples. 

·       Eligibility: Those are in category of ST/SC and having very low income, they can apply for the Auyshaman Bharat Yojana card.  Indian Citizenship is must.

·       Cashless Card:  It is a cashless card and no need to pay at the time of hospitalization.

·       Validity:  The validity of the card is 1 year or every year it need to be renewed.

·       Facility: It covers Pre-hospitalization, consultation, medical expenses, treatment expenses and diagnostic and testing expenses etc.,

2. Am Admi Bhima Yojna

Am Admi Bhima Yojna is a life insurance scheme launched by Indian Government Scheme in year 2008, it is particular for those are staying in villages and economically poor or not having permanent shelter. 

·       How to apply:  For the application, you can contact to nearest centre of Am Admi Bhima Yojna or you can also contact to insurance agent. 

·       Eligibility:  The family or an individual should be Indian Citizen and the age limit 18 to 59 years old.

·       What Cover: 

o   Natural Death                        Rs. 30,000/-

o   Accidental Death                   Rs. 75,000/-

o   Permanent Disability             Rs. 75,000/-

o   Partial Disability                    Rs. 37,500/-

 3.     Pradhan Mantri  Suraksha Bhima Yojna

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bhima Yojna is a accidental scheme in India, launched and backed by Government of India in 2015.  It is directly link with the bank account of the investors.  The premium of insurance policy is Rs. 20, which directly debited from the savings account.  This scheme is benefited for low salary.  To avail the scheme investor’s age should be in between 18 to 70 and Aadhar card is mandatory.      

·       Eligibility:  The family or an individual should be Indian Citizen and the age limit 18 to 70 years old.  Bank account is mandatory for auto debit facility.

·       How to apply:  For the application, you can contact to your bank branch or go to online website https://jansuraksha.gov.in/Forms-PMSBY.aspx

·       What Cover: 

o   Death                                     Rs. 2,00,000/-

o   Permanent Disability             Rs. 2,00,000/-

o   Partial Disability                    Rs. 1,00,000/-

 4.     Universal Health Insurance Scheme.

The Universal Health Insurance Scheme was launched in year 2003 by the Government of India, the motive behind the scheme to provide health insurance to the people of nation, most probably to lower middle class, middle class or the poor category people.  Age group of 5 to 70 years Indian nation can avail the benefit of this scheme.

Hospital expenses (Room & ICU etc.,)

0.5% Per day of total sum insured

Surgeon, consultant and Specialist Fees

15% per disease of sum insured

Diagnosis fees like MRI, X-RAY, Medicines, Blood etc.,  

15% per disease of sum insured
